Fratello is an association whose mission is to promote initiatives in favour and with the poorest within a poor Church for the poor.
After a first edition in 2016 in Rome, we invite you this year to gather in Lourdes for 4 days of friendship and prayer. An unforgettable experience not to be missed !
Program
During the 4 days we will alternate highlights all together in the morning and evening, with moments of fraternity in small groups in the afternoon.
Living together some highlights
Testimonies, times of prayer and praise, mass, vigils, Marian torchlight procession and musical show.
Living in fraternities
Each small group, called a fraternity, will compose the program for its afternoons. Among our proposals (to be chosen): sharing time, way of the Cross, Bernadette route, mountain walk, pools, time at the cave… you can also create your own activity.

Bernadette, chosen to show the holiness of the poor, will welcome us with a magnificent recital, taken from the musical show "Bernadette de Lourdes", where 13 artists will perform.

- Full board and accomodation starts with dinner on Thursday, November 14th and ends with lunch on Sunday, November 17th, 2019 (ie 3 full days). Accommodation will be in a 3-star hotel or in the guest areas of the sanctuary.
- The transport is not included and remains at your expense.
- You also have the opportunity to register for the program of the pilgrimage without accommodation and full board. The price is then 50€ and includes the registration fee and participation in the entire pilgrimage program.
- All members of the same group must opt for the same tariff formula. A deposit of 30% per group member is required at registration.
- The balance is to be paid before 20 October 2019.

2016
In November 2016, Fratello led more than 3500 homeless people and their companions from 22 countries in Europe to Rome as part of the Jubilee of Mercy. A few days later, the Pope announced the World Day of the Poor, which would take place every year on the 33rd Sunday of ordinary time.
Live an extraordinary moment
2017
In 2017, for the first World Day of the Poor, many parishes and dioceses mobilized. In Arundel (United Kingdom), Bishop Richard called on young people aged 11 to 15 to address the issue of poverty by inviting them to a mass followed by a theatrical performance. The opportunity for great exchanges !
Welcome with kindness
2018
In 2018, dioceses from all over the world mobilized to make World Day of the Poor a reality. In Paris, Vienna, Manila, Quebec City, Santiago, Ouagadougou, Antananarivo, Lyon, Madrid, Wellington, Bangui, Boston and other dioceses, Christians were present to welcome and live a privileged moment with the poor. These days between Fratelli were an opportunity to share a convivial meal... but also to pray together...
