VIIth WORLD DAY OF THE POOR
Many of us gathered this weekend to celebrate the 7th World Day of the Poor with Fratello !
7 events in France
In France, we were gathered in Lourdes, Boulogne, Pontmain, Pontmain, Notre-Dame du Laus, Lyon, Marseille, Taizé, Montbeliard... The JOY was everywhere at the rendezvous!
The program, specific to each place, included elements common to all: friendship banquet, procession to the Virgin Mary, vigil of mercy, mass, fraternal times, testimonies...
Thanks to motivated teams, the entire organization was smooth, allowing everyone to experience encounters. authentic, Fraternal, and Profound. The smiles say a lot about this joy shared throughout the weekend! 😊

An international vision
Sunday, November 19, at 15:00 (French time), a global prayer time by videoconference allowed us to pray together from all over the world! Fraternity goes beyond borders!
Our Prayer times in video gathered nearly 40 locations around the world : Chile, Philippines, Burundi, Congo, Cameroon, Cameroon, Cameroon, Cameroon, Cameroon,, Burma, Burma, Thailand, Thailand, South Korea, Lebanon, Switzerland, Syria, United Kingdom...

We heard two testimonies of faith:
- oscar, from Chile, testified to the power of mercy in his life. The encounter with Christ allowed him to get out of alcohol and off the streets. Today, he has a small business.
- Karim-Augustin, from France, told us about his journey up to baptism and explained to us how he still prayed every day.
We then turned to Our Mother in Heaven !
One Dozen of rosary was recited all over the world, with an Ave in each language. Through the Virgin Mary, we trusted ourselves to God as Brothers and sisters, coming from all walks of life! It is really Jesus who brings us together, as we sang: “Jesus in our midst”
Finally, Monsignor Emmanuel Dassi, bishop of Bafia (Cameroon), blessed us by asking us to transmit joy and love around us: “You have a treasure in you, your Capacity to love, to give the joy to others” He also invited us to trust our Good Mother in Heaven, “who is always with us on earth, always sensitive to our poverty, as at the wedding in Cana”
Thank you Lord for bringing us together in this way!

... AND What's next?
Fratello invites you
November 15, 2025
To celebrate the Jubilee of the Church together
in Rome and in many corners of the world!
Until then, we invite you to welcome this Virgo Who was blessed by Pope Francis and to make it travel to your parishes, your communities, your families but also to prisons, camps and all places of suffering.
She will be able to bring her consolation as a mother, and to build a great network of love and fraternity around Jesus.

Let us remain united in prayer!
